Symposium Information

On-site Registration (U.S. Dollars)
The early registration fee is $550 for SPE members, $700 for non-members and includes the Conference Proceedings, IOR Pioneer Awards Luncheon, All Convention Luncheon, Beer and Bratwurst, Technical Sessions and Exhibition. Registration fees increase $150 after March 25, 2010. Some events are limited and available first to those registering in advance. On-site registration is available Sunday, April 25 from 3:00 - 6:00 p.m. and on Monday and Tuesday, April 26 and 27 from 7:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. in the hotel’s Convention Center Lobby.

Symposium Proceedings
Proceedings are included in the Advance Registration and On-site Registration Fees. Additional copies of the Proceedings (CD only) will be available for $100 for SPE members and $150 for Nonmembers. Proceedings may be ordered on a limited basis by contacting the Registration Chair at ior@SPEIOR.org.

Plenary Session
The opening Plenary Session, Monday morning, April 26, will feature a distinguished panel of experts.

Technical Program
The Program Committee, chaired by Larry Lake, selected for presentation 108 technical papers on topics ranging from innovative technology to field applications.

Technical Exhibition
The exhibition will feature companies displaying an outstanding array of products and services related to IOR.

Field Trip
A “Tulsa Geology” field trip is planned for Sunday, April 25 from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Lunch will be at the Tulsa Zoo pavilion. Seating is limited to 52, so sign up early!

Social Functions
The Monday Recognition Luncheon features distinguished "IOR Pioneers" who will receive honors for their contributions to improved oil recovery. On Tuesday night, join us in the exhibit hall for Beer and Bratwurst. The Tuesday all convention luncheon will feature a presentation by Bob Tippee, Editor of the Oil & Gas Journal.

Continuing Education Credits
Continuing Education Credit/Professional Development hours for licensed professional engineers may be obtained with IOR short courses and technical papers. Certificates of Completion will be presented for these courses and sessions after the conference.

Press Room
A press room will be available Monday, April 26 and Tuesday, April 27 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. On Wednesday, April 28, the press room will be open from 8 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.

Message Center
A Message Center will be available during symposium hours in the registration area.

Parking
Attendee parking will be available in the hotel parking lot free of charge.
