Privacy Statement

The Improved Oil Recovery Symposium (“IOR”) values your participation in this meeting and we will protect and restrict collected information to the fullest extent possible.  The IOR Symposium collects private contact information (address, phone number, email address, etc.), payment information (account or credit card number) and other information as needed for processing, registration, contacting the customer and other direct meeting related events.  IOR collects payment information (such as a credit card number) for the purpose of completing transactions. IOR does not disclose credit card or other financial information to any other individual or organization. 

To protect your submission of credit card information to IOR, we use an industry-standard secure server and encrypted data transmission called Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) Technology. SSL Technology encrypts the transmitted information to make it very difficult for anyone other than IOR to decode the information. IOR's implementation of SSL is authenticated by VeriSign.

You can verify that you are in a secure-transmission portion of IOR's website by-

1.  Look for an unbroken key symbol or lock symbol at the bottom status bar of your browser or
2.  Look at the URL address in your browser window. When in secured mode, the address changes from http to "https."
